ROCK THE RECESSION. Please come and join us as we celebrate the magic of the Autumn Season and a sense of renewal.  As the Holidays approach us, we think of a time to embrace family and friends. With the current economic downturn many have turned to less expensive ways to decorate their homes and create beautiful tablescapes for their dining rooms for dinner entertaining, and adding elements of Holiday decor throughout their homes without spending a fortune. In Every Corner offers affordable choices and alternatives for making your home a cozy, warm and inviting place for guests to gather.

On the night of November 11, 2009, In Every Corner along with our neighbors at Fort Apache Commons are presenting “Rock The Recession”, an event which will feature our chance to introduce us to the local community and to offer free entertainment along with comlimentary drinks and food. Be a part of the festivities as guests have a chance to win door prizes and a Grand Giftbag Prize valued at over $1,000! For the event night, In Every Corner will be offering 20% off on all in-store purchases. Any purchase made that is over $100, we will give our customers a $50 giftcard to use towards a future purchase. You will also be eligible to join our “Culture Club program so everytime you visit the store and make any purchase you will automatically receive an additional 20% off.

As a reminder, don’t forget to ask us about our in-store layaway program. We recently implemented this plan as a way to make it easier for our customers to budget their purchases given these difficult times.

So, mark the date for our “Rock The Recession” Event! Hope to see you there!

Lg. Buffet with Brass Inlay IndiaHello all…..

Customers come into our store and they often ask what type of woods are used in making the furniture we sell. Well, here are some answers…..

Predominant woods from India: Sheesham, Acacia, and Mango. These are indigenous to the northwest regions in the state of Rajastan, India. The woods are entirely reclaimed and repurposed to make beautiful pieces such as dining tables with intricate carvings or buffets or consoles with carvings surrounding the perimeter of the piece. Old doors which are saved from temples and older buildings are made into table tops and then can be covered with clear glass for a striking effect. In addition to the woods, many of the original slabs have aged brass inlay work which is an added element that enhances the piece even more. These woods are solid through and through and will last a lifetime. We are very proud to have these pieces in the store and online for you to purchase and to own a one of a kind piece that tells a story.

Teakwood is the predominant wood from Indonesia. It is very solid throughout and the slabs are oftentimes made into gorgeous dining tables and tribal or primitive pieces that are gallery worthy. Many accessories such as candleholders and serving bowls are also made of teak. The natural coloration and appearance of the wood is attractive in homes where the resident likes clean and eco-friendly product.

The next time you stop in our store feel free to ask us to show you the different woods featured. Our artisans also handpaint the cabinets in an array of colors that are vibrant lending to that real rustic and earthy feel.
